In this ongoing class, we will paint a new acrylic painting together each week that focuses on a different fundamental of art.

Class experience

Learners will be able to paint a new acrylic painting on canvas, and improve their understanding of acrylic paint basics, brush techniques, and composition.
Teacher Mónica is a mixed media artist who specializes in acrylic abstract artworks. They have been painting since middle school and have showcased art in galleries in Los Angeles, Denver, and Boulder. In 2014 Mónica received a Bachelor of Music in Music Education and continued to teach both art and music in 1-on-1, small group, and classroom settings. Teacher Mónica also creates abstract painting tutorials on social media platforms, to help artists become more confident in their painting and style.
