In this one-time Spanish class, students will practice listening & speaking through a story about sports & help the teacher by providing the details.
This one-time class students will learn frequently used verbs (likes, needs, goes, is) and fun vocabulary in Spanish. This class is taught in Spanish.
Students will improve their ability to understand and speak Spanish. They will be able to recognize and say frequently-used verbs including the following: likes, needs, is, wants and goes. They will be able to understand and retell at least part of the story in the target language.
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Spanish, as well as a Maine and Georgia teaching certification for grades K-12. I have taught English in Spain for two years and Spanish in the United States for 10 years.
Assessments OfferedThe teacher will use formative assessments informally throughout the class to ensure the students' understanding.
