In this one time class, learners will create achievable goals in the area of school, relationships, nutrition and personal growth. Learners will be encouraged to think critically about what they want to accomplish over the next 365 days, then consider what steps they will need to take in order to reach those goals. The class in broken down into two parts: 1: Learners will complete a planning guide where they will set goals and write what steps they will need to take to reach those goals....
This class is taught in English.
As a current fifth grade teacher, I have done a lot of work around goal setting with my students. With 10 years of teaching, I have helped a countless number of students set realistic and achievable goals both in their personal life and in the area of academics. I understand the importance of goal setting as it relates to personal growth, responsibility and a 'can do' attitude.
