In this 8 week course, students will learn a variety of effective and efficient success skills that will help students become more in control of their learning, more confident in their abilities as students, and that will help them feel better prepared for exams. Class meets two times a week. On the first day of the week, students will learn a new skill and new concepts for that skill. On the second day of the week, students will discuss their implementation of that skill and/or will engage in reflection/conversation of that skill. The goal is that between the two class meetings, students implement the skill to enhance their learning.
Learning Goals
Students will improve their time management skills.Students will learn how to effective and efficient notes that will be used for studying and to aid in memory.

Application of Time Management Tools

Five Note-Taking Styles for Enhanced Learning and Memory
Students will learn about five different types of note-taking systems and how to use them 45 mins online live lesson
Lesson 4:
Implement One Note-Taking Style
Discuss what note-taking system students used and how it worked/what did not work 45 mins online live lesson
