Welcome to Academic Infused Minecraft STEAM Activities 2. 🎁 Please enjoy this gift from me. Contains four engaging books read aloud for early readers, multiple EPIC creative and Minecraft challenges for learners, personally created Minecraft video tutorials, and bonus Minecraft themed activity pages including mazes, early ELA writing, and early Math printable activity pages that I have created in homeschooling my own Minecrafter and for our class! There are 4 different Minecraft themed early reader books in total for this course. One week I read the book read aloud with bonus content and ELA skills. ➡️ Learners are invited to respond to my experience, build challenges and discussion questions as they wish, posting images, screen recordings, questions, and idea descriptions. 💖I respond all learner's posts with specific positive feedback. I am responsive, engaging, inclusive, and empowering. 💡My high-interest self-paced courses are fully asynchronous with *no live meetings* to affirm learners to participate in a way that works best for their schedules, pace, and strengths, eliminating the stress of rigid schedule times and deadlines of live meetings. Self-paced courses are inclusive to multiple learning styles and learner needs, potentially fostering greater engagement. Learners can pause, skip around, and rewatch my Minecraft video tutorials as they wish as well as choosing the tutorials that inspire their interests the most. My self-paced courses are interactive, engaging, empowering, and affirming. I am responsive to questions and posts. The only supplies needed are Minecraft Bedrock or Education Edition and an interest in our course topic. This is a flexible schedule, asynchronous course with no live meetings and extended time by accessing my content through their learner transcripts. Notes: *The Unofficial, Early Readers Minecraft books read each week are used with expressed permission from author Anna Kopp. *Not an official Minecraft product and not approved by or associated with Mojang. *The class image was by me within Canva Pro. *All activity pages used in class were created by me. Learning Needs
As a neurodivergent person myself, and an experienced, highly trained & certified educator, I create my classes to be especially neurodiverse inclusive for learners with dyslexia, autism ASD, 2e, gifted, ADHD, & PDA. Homeschool friendly.
Parental Guidance
✓ Books & reading skills are not needed.
✓ I will be reading with the Minecraft Early Readers book pages displayed.
✓ Self-paced course with engaging recorded video lessons & specific feedback provided.
✓ No Shared Gamer Tags. We're not gaming together in a server.
✓ Minecraft App Required. Education/Bedrock Edition needed (not provided).
✓ Familiarity with Minecraft on own device
✓ There is a spooky Halloween theme included that involves Minecraft hostile mobs.
✓ Minecraft contains monster mob characters & cartoon-style violence (no blood or gore).
✓ Printing of any of my created activity pages or book review content is completely optional.
Supply List
No specific supplies are needed other than having a Minecraft account and Minecraft app/software of any edition and on any device will be needed if your learner wishes to attempt the techniques and challenges mentioned within Minecraft itself if desired. Learners do not need to be able to read independently, or have copies of the books used, to actively participate in this self-paced course. Learners have the opportunity to make their own creations related to Minecraft and/or each book. I have created some documents for printing (optional) and attached in the classroom post. The YouTube links of my personally created Minecraft walkthrough videos will be embedded in the classroom posts and no additional account or searching is needed. Completing the challenges and viewing or use of any of my created content is completely optional.
