In this one time acrylic paint class students will be guided through the process to create a beautiful peacock dancer. Students will learn how to paint a background using wash and blending techniques. Students will learn the basics into drawing a person. The basic dancer outline will be sketched on first and then painted over. I will cover different types of techniques to create the exquisite peacock dress. The class will be taught at a speed that is comfortable to all learners. Students will be encouraged to be creative. Questions will be encouraged throughout the lesson. This class is perfect for beginning and intermediate students. No experience needed!

Materials needed: Canvas, canvas board or watercolor paper Paints: I used medium bodied tube a acrylics. You do not have to this type of paint, but can if you like. ( I use hobby lobby brand.) I used Carmel, white, black, turquoise, teal, light blue, dark blue, purple and gold. You can use any colors you like. Brushes: I used a large flat brush for the background small or medium liner brush small flat brush 1/2 inch or smaller sponge for background charcoal pencil for sketching and kneaded eraser hair dryer to speed up drying process Water and cloth to clean brushes *protect your clothes and table area...table cloth, apron or old t-shirt
