Beginner - Intermediate Level
In this guided painting class, young artists will embark on a creative journey to design their own abstract acrylic masterpiece on an 8x10 canvas. Using basic brushes and vibrant acrylic paints, students will explore the use of lines, patterns, and colors to create unique and expressive artworks. This class is perfect for beginners, encouraging creativity while introducing foundational painting techniques. Students will leave with a completed painting that showcases their individuality and artistic flair. No prior experience is necessary—just bring your imagination and a desire to have fun! Introduction (5 minutes): Warm welcome, overview of materials, and introduction to abstract art. Guided Practice (20 minutes): Step-by-step instructions for sketching and painting lines and patterns. Creative Exploration (25 minutes): Students will apply their own color choices and personal touches to their artwork, with guidance as needed. Showcase and Feedback (10 minutes): Students will share their work (optional) and receive positive and constructive feedback.
