Knowing how to tell time is a very important skill. It can help you determine whether you’re running late or whether you have plenty of time to spare. It can help you catch a train, bus, or plane on time, and allows you to know if you’re going to make it to an important get-together early or late. Being able to tell time by looking at a traditional clock is essential to understanding other things like time zones and international times as well. Learning how to tell time can also help kids with their motor and cognitive skills as well as mathematical skills. About Time is a class designed to help learners know about time and the clocks that tell it. Students will learn the days of the week, months of the year as well the four seasons. These are extremely practical lessons that will assist in everyday life. What will we do each day? Day 1: Learn to read Digital Clock to the hour Learn to read Analog Clock to the hour Day 2: Practice Digital Clock to the hour Practice Analog Clock to the hour The four seasons Day 3: Learn to read Digital Clock to the half hour Learn to read Analog Clock to the half hour Learn days of the week Day 4: Practice Digital Clock to the half hour Practice Analog Clock to the half hour Learn months of the year In help tell time students will also practice skip counting by 5's and 10's.
