Class Experience

Students will watch a slide show about Andy Warhol. They will learn about Pop-Art, a very fun period of art. We will look at many of his best-known paintings and prints. We will also talk about Warhol's life and what inspired his art. Students will learn about the use of bright colors and simple shapes that are featured in his art work. I will lead students in making their own version of Pop-Art, inspired by Andy Warhol. We will use markers, colored paper, glue and scissors to make a Pop-Art composition.

I AM CURRENTLY TAKING A BREAK FROM OUTSCHOOL TO GO BACK INTO THE CLASSROOM. I WILL BE BACK!!!!!! PLEASE MESSAGE ME IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR CLASSES AND I WILL LET YOU KNOW WHEN I RETURN
Hello. I have been an art teach for 7 years as an employee of Art Masters Legacy. I teach a one hour lesson in the classroom to students in TK - 6th grade and special needs students. I attended college to become a teacher. I did not become a teacher right after college. I worked as an event planner and began teaching when my children were in elementary school. I absolutely love what I do. I call it my jobby. Art is my hobby and teaching it to students is my job. I draw like a child. I think it inspires the students and makes it obtainable for them! I am relateable. I make the lesson fun while breaking it down into very simple steps. I have been told by many teachers that I a have amazing classroom control.
