Welcome to ABCs with You and Me! Ongoing Preschool Circle Time Class. I hope you can join us as we have lots of fun learning our ABCs together!

We’re going to meet once a week to learn a new letter of the day, practice the sound the letter makes, sing songs, do fingerplays, and/or read a story together. At the end of class, we'll also do a hands-on activity to go along with the letter we're learning. I will send you a PDF the day before that you can print out and bring to class with you.
I use puppets and props to teach, as well as colorful learning slides in the classroom. Our class will be fun and active, and we’ll transition into different activities quickly to keep up with young learners' shorter attention spans.
This class will go through all of the letters of the alphabet and then start over again from the beginning. Since this is an ongoing class, learners can jump in and out at any time!
Parental guidance is highly recommended to help with the mute/unmute button as needed and assist with hands-on activities.
For the hands-on activities we do in class, you will need basic art supplies and things you probably already have around your house.

List of Hands-On Materials to bring to class, if you have them:

Drawing Paper
Playdough
Small countable items such as counting cubes, counting bears, pom poms, magnetic letters

Hi there! 😊

I'm Ms. Elizabeth, an early literacy and reading tutor for grades Pre-K through 2nd Grade. I also teach online preschool for ages 3-5 as well as art and reading/writing classes for ages 6-9.

My classes are fun, interactive, and highly engaging for young learners. I incorporate music, movement, stories, art, and hands-on learning activities for a holistic learning experience. I believe that a child-centric, play-based approach is best for young children as they learn.
I strive to create classes that spark my students' interests, engage with their curiosity, and inspire them to go even further in their learning. I love seeing my students get excited about reading, writing, creating, and exploring.

For my early reading tutoring classes, I follow the research-based science of reading principles, including teaching oral language, phonological awareness and phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, reading/language comprehension, and writing. I'm committed to helping your child learn the basic literacy skills they need to succeed in their reading journey. I use high-quality materials and individualize each tutoring lesson to fit your child's specific learning needs.

I've been teaching online for over 4 years. I began my teaching journey as an online ESL teacher, and then transitioned into teaching online preschool and early reading/writing classes.

I've been working with children for over 10 years as a babysitter, nanny, and tutor.

I have a Bachelor's degree in English/Creative Writing. Currently, I'm working on getting an associate's degree in early childhood care and education.

In addition to teaching, I also write fiction for young adults.

I love spending time at home with my husband and our two kitty babies, Kiki and Teddy. Once in a while, you may get to see a kitty in class too!
