California Teaching Certificate in Elementary Education
Sharon Frazier-Verpooten has been teaching elementary school for over 30 years and tutoring struggling readers for 5 years. This class is especially helpful for students who may struggle with dyslexia as she will be using evidence based teaching practices that are multisensory, sequential, individualized, and based on phonograms. These are wonderful strategies for all beginning readers, and research has shown that these strategies are successful in helping students with dyslexia.
