Get back into reading after the summer! Students will review: Blends, NG words, Compound Words, Plural Words, Syllables & the Additional Sounds for A, I, C, O, G, E, U, Y, & CH. *This class is a one-week class that meets for 5 days.
Class Experience
This class is a prep class for All About Reading Level 2. Students in this class should have completed level 1 (it can also be a review class for students about to start level 2 after taking the online placement test). This course is intended to help students get back into reading after the summer or other long pauses between levels. Classes will begin with a phonogram (letter) review. Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
During the course, we may watch short age-appropriate videos or play games to reinforce concepts. I will show activities through my desk camera or use slides from Google Slides or Genial.ly.
