In this self-paced class, students will work through 15 lessons that will take them through Lemony Snicket's The Bad Beginning. Students will learn vocabulary, comprehension skills, and writing skill as well!

1-2 hours per week. Students will receive optional assignments for each lesson. Students are encouraged to complete these assignments and return them to Miss Jessi for feedback. These assignments and activities will cover a wide variety of concepts for each lesson. Students and parents are encouraged to see what assignments would best help their student with their current goals and complete those that are most relevant to return for feedback. Students are more than welcome to complete and return all assignments, however it is not required for this course.Assessment
Students will have any work that is submitted assessed and feedback given. At the end of the course, Miss Jessi will provide a detailed assessment of student growth to parents upon request.Class Experience

In this self-paced course, students will work through 15 lessons that help improve reading and comprehension skills through the novel 'The Bad Beginning' by Lemony Snicket. Content for this class will be presented in videos, readings, and worksheets, as well as Google Forms for students hoping to receive quick feedback. Students will have the opportunity to review the same material in a variety of formats to help enforce true understanding of the concepts presented. Miss Jessi teaches traditional concepts in a fun and engaging way, meeting students where they are and providing a path for success. Students and parents should expect exciting and engaging activities that can help bolster a students love for reading and learning!
