Assessment

Details: Students are asked periodically throughout class to demonstrate a dance move that they remember from class. No written assessment is provided. The more students repeat moves they remember during freestyle dance, the greater the indication that they are learning and enjoying what they are learning.
Your child may wish to have a water bottle nearby.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
This class involves physical movement. I recommend using a space that allows you child to stand up and move. This does not need to be a large space. Some families have used kitchens, living rooms, bedrooms, and even outside patios.

As with any physical activity by signing up for this class you are confirming that your child is healthy enough to participate and is capable of using good judgement when moving. This is not a break dance or gymnastics class but some kids will be eager to try movements that I have not shown them. By registering for this class you understand that I as the teacher am not responsible for any injury that my result due to class participation or not following class instructions.

This class includes funk, pop, rap, and hip hop music.
