In this class, students will measure, mix and bake a cookie in a mug! We will start by talking about the ingredients and why we are using them. Then we will measure the ingredients and pour them into the mug. While we are measuring and adding the ingredients, we will review what we are adding and why. After measuring the ingredients and adding them into a mug, we will mix them all together. Finally, we will put the mug in a microwave to bake! After the cookie is baked we will enjoy it together and talk about other things we would like to bake If you would like a different time, let me know!

Mug Microwave oven Semi-sweet Chocolate chips All-Purpose flour Baking Powder Low-fat milk Vanilla Extract Brown Sugar lightly packed For measuring we will use: 1/4 cup, 1/4 teaspoon, 1/2 teaspoon, and a tablespoon
