A Bookworm Learns to Read With Bob Books - Private, Beginners Course

Is your learner ready to start reading? In this class, they will learn to read using the popular Bob books! Before enrolling, learners should be able to identify most letters and letter sounds. We will work on letter recognition and sounds in class, but this should be mostly review for your learner so that we can spend our time reading! During each class, we will review a few letters and their sounds, take a picture walk through our book for the day, and then read at least one book. This class is one-on-one, so we will go at the pace your learner needs! We will work on phonics and sight words to boost your learner's skills and confidence.

The class listing is set up for meetings once a week, if you would like to meet more often than that, please contact me. I am happy to work with you to set up a schedule that works best for your learner. The more often we are able to meet, the more quickly your learner will progress! 

Your learner will need their own copy of the Bob books for class, starting with Set 1: Beginning Readers. They can be found on Amazon or at Costco.
