A Beginning Violinist's Guide to Disney

Disclaimer: This class is for beginning violinists that already have a foundational knowledge of the violin (i.e. how to hold it, what the strings are called, where to put their fingers, etc.). If you are a brand new violinist, please check out my "From Nothing to Twinkles" and "From Nothing to Favorites" classes!

In this course, students will learn how to play Disney songs on their violins! Every week, we will be learning a new song (sometimes two!) from different Disney movies. You do not need to attend any previous class to be able to participate in any one of these weekly classes! In each class, we will watch a 30-second movie clip from whatever movie the song is from that shows the students where in the film the songs appear. Then we will learn how to play the chorus of the song by ear, note by note.

The students will be actively engaged and participating the whole time, and if there is time at the end of the class, they will be able to play their new song for their classmates. When the class has ended, I will distribute sheet music of what we learned that way the students do not forget the song.
