Chinese characters, also known as Hanzi (漢字) are one of the earliest forms of written language in the world, dating back approximately five thousand years. As an art form, Chinese calligraphy remains an integral aspect of Chinese culture. But do you know Chinese characters are actually related? Students will be able to identify, read and write component 汉字部首 water 氵related characters (e.g. 河 river, 海 sea, 湖lake, 沙滩 beach, etc. and see the relation among these characters.
Set up Chinese keyboard for typing characters or pen & paper for writing down the characters.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
