This 8-week course is designed to help students overcome the stress, anxiety, and frustration that comes with writing school essays. Students will complete weekly in-class writing assignments, one rough draft essay, and one final draft essay. Students will learn how to write detailed paragraphs, strong thesis statements, compelling introductions, and effective conclusions. Students will also learn how to use a few tools to outline, plan, and compose their essay which has helped many previous students overcome "Blank Page Anxiety," improve grades, and boost test scores. More importantly, this class will help your young scholar learn how to write and communicate confidently. In addition to core writing skills, the course emphasizes grammar, style, and proper MLA formatting, ensuring that students not only write clearly but also present their work professionally.
