7th Grade Math: Fluency, Ratios, and Proportional Relationships
In this 9-week online course, students will master the skills of ratios and proportional relationships in tables, graphs, and equations. Students will also be provided with sample standardized testing material based on these standards.

Beginner Level
This class will focus on Ratios and Proportions. It will cover ratios, proportional relationships in tables, graphs, equations, and real-life contexts, and scale drawings. Students will start the class with Fluency, followed by the lesson through lecture and notes. I will then use the I Do, We Do, You Do approach to make sure they understand the lesson. Practice problems will then be assigned, and I will use this time to help individual students with any questions they may have about the lesson.
Learning Goals
Students will compute unit rates associated with ratios of fractions, including ratios of lengths, areas, and other quantities measured in like or different units.
Using tables, equations, and graphs, students will recognize and represent proportional relationships between quantities.
