This class will review key concepts that will be on most 6th grade math end of year tests. This class will move quickly as it is intended to be a review. Each class will feature some instruction, and some practice problems for the student to complete. Class # 1 will review multiplication and long division, changing percents to decimals and decimals to percents and word problems. Class # 2 will review mean, median, mode, and range. I have a bachelor's degree in education with a concentration in middle school math. I have been certified and taught middle school math in the NC public school system school system and also at a private school. In 2023 100% of my MATH 1 eighth grade students passed the MATH 1 EOG on their first attempt.
Students should have pencil and paper to complete practice problems.
