In this engaging and interactive class, we focus on mastering key math concepts essential to their grade-level curriculum. Positive and negative numbers, opposites, absolute value.
Practice: Ordering and comparing integers and rational numbers. 45 mins online live lesson
Lesson 2:
Session 2: Adding and Subtracting Integers
Number line strategies and rules for operations.
Practice problems: Real-world applications. 45 mins online live lesson
Lesson 3:
Session 3: Multiplying and Dividing Integers
Rules for operations with signs.
Practice problems and group activity. 45 mins online live lesson
Lesson 4:
Session 4: Decimals and Fractions Review
Converting between fractions and decimals.
Practice: Simplification and equivalency. 45 mins online live lesson

Learning Needs
This class is designed to support learners who need a little extra assistance to learn math skills. This class is capped at 6 students.
Parental Guidance
During sessions, we may use the following tools to enhance the lesson: Kahoot, Nearpod, and IXL Learning.
Supply List
If the student does not have access to the annotate tools, they will need a whiteboard, marker, and eraser to work together in class. A pencil and paper is also needed.
