Beginner - Advanced Level
This course will entail every core subject that your fifth grader needs to know! This is a full curriculum that is taught by a certified and licensed educator and will cover the 5th-grade common core standards. Due to the fact that this is flexible course, students who are already in 5th grade can enroll for additional support and practice. Homeschooled students can enroll for a complete 5th grade curriculum. Videos will be uploaded daily along with practice assignments, homework, and additional resources. Students will use the Outschool classroom to access all materials and homework. The weekly schedule will include the following: Monday: -Executive Functioning -Math Tuesday: -Language Arts -Reading -Writing Wednesday: -Science -Social Studies Thursday: -Math Lesson -Computer Applications Students will have the opportunity to engage with one another through platforms such as Flipgrid and discussions on the Outschool classroom. Students will participate in engaging and interactive platforms such as Kahoot, and Nearpod in order for me to formatively assess.
