In this class, learners will be given guided practice problems to solve involving adding subtracting numbers with decimals, including regrouping. This should not be the student's first exposure to this mathematical operation. Learners will be given immediate feedback, guided error correction, and reteaching as needed during the class. Strategies such as using place value charts and/or a number line to find answers will be demonstrated as needed. Learners should have a basic understanding of decimal place value before attending this class. Please schedule carefully, as missed classes will not be rescheduled or refunded.

Learners should bring something to write with, such as paper/pencil or a whiteboard, to each class meeting.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
