- Students will understand the place value system up to millions and apply this understanding in various mathematical operations.
- Students will fluently add and subtract multi-digit whole numbers using the standard algorithm.
- Students will multiply a whole number of up to four digits by a one-digit whole number, and multiply two two-digit numbers.
- Students will divide a whole number of up to four digits by a one-digit divisor, interpreting remainders as necessary.
- Students will understand fraction equivalence and ordering. Students will add and subtract fractions and mixed numbers with like denominators. Students will multiply a fraction by a whole number.
- Students will solve problems involving measurement and conversion of measurements from a larger unit to a smaller unit. Students will represent and interpret data using graphs and charts. Students will understand concepts of angles and measure angles
- Students will classify geometric shapes based on properties such as parallel and perpendicular lines, angles, and symmetry. Students will identify and draw lines of symmetry in two-dimensional figures.
- Students will develop strategies for solving word problems that involve the above mathematical concepts. Students will engage in mathematical reasoning and articulate the process of solving a problem.
- Students will identify and generate patterns and understand the relationship between numbers in patterns.
- Students will use properties of operations (associative, commutative, and distributive) to perform arithmetic operations.
- Students will explain mathematical concepts and solutions clearly and precisely using appropriate vocabulary and notation.

Zearn is a online curriculum platform that supports students in mastering math objectives. If students opt in to participate, they will receive login instructions for their student account.
