Class Experience

In this 4 Day Dance Camp, we will use our imaginations, unleash our creativity and have FUN as we learn beginner dance steps and dances to songs by Elsa, Moana, Ariel, and Mirabel! Learners are encouraged to dress up each day (please make sure their outfit will not interfere with movement and dance.)

Class will always start with Share Time where we will have dedicated time to talk to one another and learn more about our friends that we are dancing with! Then, it will be time to DANCE! We will begin with an upbeat warm-up, followed by learning a few key steps that will be in the dance each day. Then, we will have a quick water break and learn a FUN dance! Your Learner will truly feel *~Magical~* after each class and will have a dance that they can show off to family and friends each day!

      Class Schedule:
Monday- Island Adventure: We will learn a dance that uses 3 step turns, basic hula, and how to move gracefully like Moana!

Tuesday- Under the Sea: We will learn a dance that uses bicycle jumps, grapevine, and twirls like Ariel from The Little Mermaid!

Wednesday- Let It Go: We will learn a dance using moves like Elsa consisting of arm sways, turns in place, and a leap!

Thursday- Magical Madrigal: We will learn a dance utilizing all the steps we've practiced throughout the week dancing and singing our way with Mirabel from Encanto!

No prior knowledge of dance is expected, but if you have danced before, great! This class is designed with beginners in mind.

Music used will be upbeat Disney favorites

All movement will be broken down step by step so all students are learning together and can have fun together!

Since dance is a physical activity, it is recommended there be adult supervision throughout class as there is always a level of risk associated with any physical activity. Please have a space cleared of debris and clutter (minimum 4X4 ft square) so your learner can move about freely.

As a teacher, I aim to always create a warm and welcoming environment in my classes where all students have the opportunity to learn, grow and explore their inner creativity! Please don't hesitate to reach out if there's anything additional I can do to make your child more at ease in my classes.
Learning Goals
Students will have an understanding of basic dance steps and vocabulary, as well as grow their confidence through learning and performing a dance each class.
