US Grade Preschool - Kindergarten
START ANY WEEK! This class is geared towards children between 4 and 6 who are about to start kindergarten OR are already in Kindergarten. Students who are three are more than welcome to join, but may need parental assistance. I do have a Preschool / Pre K Circle time class that is for students between 3 and 4 that meets 2 times a week and is only 20 minutes in length, as well as a Kindergarten/First Grade Circle Time Class that is for students 4-6 that is meets 5 times a week and is 25...
Students will: -Learn their ABC's. They will learn to identify their letters and the corresponding letter sounds -Learn all about the calendar. They will learn to talk about the days of the week. They will also learn the months of the year as well as the seasons -Learn how to count to 20 (and beyond). See numbers represented in different ways (numerical, words, pictures, etc) -Work on numeracy concepts such as patterns, relationships, addition, subtraction, etc -Build socialization skills, including public speaking and active listening -Build their comprehension skills by answering questions -Develop gross and fine motor skills through music and movement activities -Explore their artistic and creative skills through guided step by step crafts and drawings

All weekly worksheets will be posted in the Classroom Tab and Classroom Comments area by 3pm (MT) the Sunday prior to class. Students will have a couple of minutes to start one of the worksheets in class and ask the teacher any questions if needed. Printing sheet will mostly be completed outside of class time.
