Beginner Level
THIS COURSE IS FOR STUDENTS WHO COMPLETED THE 2ND SEMESTER! Please do not sign up your student who has not learned any grammar yet! If you are not sure if that is the correct level for your student please contact me for a consultation. Let's continue learning German with Willi the Frog, Dixi and the Schlaumeier in "Das neue Deutschmobil 1". In the 3rd semester we will be covering grammar, German phonetics, listening and reading strategies, increasing writing and conversational skills and expanding our German vocabulary. Everyone will be interacting with the Teacher and the other students via Zoom meeting. We will be using the “Das neue Deutschmobil 1” Lehrbuch and Arbeitsbuch by Klett. This course includes a lot of engagements, practice and interaction. Homework is a necessary part of learning a language! I will be sending homework home weekly and a test will be send home after each Chapter/Lektion. Homework assignments include: worksheets in the Workbook, Vocabulary practice on Quizlet and Booklet, Grammar practice on Conjuguemos and Tests being send home. This course prepares the student for the “Fit in Deutsch 1” exam ( I do not give this exam, Goethe Institut does) . Note: Class has to have a minimum of 3 learners to take place. All students need to have their camera on during class.
