Class experience
US Grade 3
This nine week class focuses on the second semester math standards for third grade. The class is designed for small group, highly engaging and interactive instruction. I will teach small groups of no more than six learners. I will adhere to the following curriculum map. Weeks 1-2 Assessment of prior knowledge, skill proficiencies, and individual abilities. Review addition, subtraction, and multiplication. Introduction to division. I will share my observations of each learner with parents...
Students will learn the math standards and learning objectives for third grade by engaging in activities designed to meet their individual learning styles and specific academic needs.
Homework Offered
Homework will be assigned if between teacher and parent conversation it is determined to be needed. I am flexible in this area. I do not believe in homework for the sake of creating busy work. Homework should be used to reinforce skills not teach new ones.Assessments Offered
I will provide weekly progress notes to parents. I welcome all questions and comments from both learners and parents.Grades Offered
