Please bring a dry erase board and marker to class if possible.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
I will post optional Youtube videos to watch prior to class in order to review the concepts. Youtube does require a google account to watch videos. This is an optional part of the class and it will be no problem to continue with the course if you choose not to watch the videos.
Nearpod does not require an account. However, Nearpod is not required to complete the class. I will provide a link at the beginning of class. The students will follow the link and type in a name so I can identify them as they do the work (full name is not required.) This allows me to see the students' work as they complete it. I will also screen-share the Nearpod lesson, so it is not required that a student use Nearpod at all if that is preferred. They can complete the work on paper or a dry erase board and show the camera. Either option works well for the class.
IXL does not require an account. It is used to practice weekly concepts.
