3rd Grade Condensed Math Flex (8 weeks)

This condensed flex class is a great fit for students who are wanting to gain more knowledge, understanding, and strengthen their foundational math skills. 

Each week on Tuesday and Thursday, I will post four instructional videos based on the weekly topic as well as an assignment on each day. Every two weeks I will post an optional assessment based on the previous weekly topics in place of one of the optional assignments so the students can apply what they have learned.  At the end of the course I will have a course assessment that will cover all the material from week 1 to week 8. For any of the assignments or assessments, the students can submit or share their work for feedback or just to show off their hard work. 

The topics are as follows: 

Week 1 Word Problems and Word Problem Strategy (Using money, addition, subtraction, multiplication) 
Week 2 Graphs (pictographs, bar graphs, Venn diagrams) 
Week 3 Multiplication and Division Strategies
Week 4 Fraction Review and Fractions on a Number line
Week 5 Division Word problems 
Week 6 Elapsed Time 
Week 7 Elapsed Time Word Problems 
Week 8 Perimeter and Area and Word Problems

At any point during the course, students are encouraged to reach out if they have questions or need feedback. I can address their concerns through a quick zoom meeting or through message.
