I have been a middle school math teacher for twenty three years. I have helped thousands of students make the transition from elementary math to middle school math and beyond. I have taught and tutored students from second grade through Trigonometry so I also understand the mindset necessary for continued mathematical success. I have a Masters in Education from Johns Hopkins University.
Homework Offered
I will provide a weekly pdf of problems similar to ones we discuss in class. This way students will be able to practice patterns found in class and hopefully teach someone else!
0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
Upon request I can provide an informal assessment (written paragraph) of any learner at any time. But there are no formal grades or tests.
