Dive into Montessori & STEAM with Quantum Montessori’s “Quantum Explorers” class for 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders. This interactive online class combines Montessori methods with STEAM education. Led by experienced educators, students will engage in hands-on activities that foster creativity, independence, and a deep understanding of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics. Perfect for homeschoolers and remote learners, this class nurtures exploration and innovation in a friendly, supportive environment. Students will cover math, language arts, science, and social studies, as well as technology, engineering, and arts. Social and emotional learning (SEL) activities encourage empathy, cooperation, and conflict resolution. Entrepreneurship skills like customer service, marketing, and financial literacy are also included. This comprehensive approach prepares students for success in both academic and personal lives. The class is offered 3 days a week for 2 hours each day, with live guidance and weekly homework plans. Our CONGIA accredited program meets Montessori and national standards, offering personalized learning, comprehensive education, and experienced guidance. Learning Goals
The 3rd, 4th, & 5th graders enrolled in Quantum Montessori’s Virtual Montessori classroom will learn a wide range of skills and concepts across multiple subject areas. Through the Montessori approach, students will develop their independence, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. They will also learn about practical life skills, cultural studies, and how to work with different materials to engage in hands-on learning experiences. The virtual classroom will also place a strong emphasis on STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and math) education, allowing students to explore and create in these fields through hands-on projects and activities. This will help them develop skills such as creativity, collaboration, and innovation.
Through our focus on SEL (social and emotional learning), students will learn how to manage their emotions, build empathy, and develop healthy relationships with others. This will include activities and discussions that promote self-awareness, self-management, responsible decision-making, and social awareness. In terms of literacy, students will receive a well-rounded education through a variety of reading, writing, and language activities. They will also have opportunities to develop their communication skills through presentations, debates, and other interactive projects. Finally, our entrepreneurship focus will teach students about financial literacy, problem-solving, marketing, and product development. They will have the chance to turn their ideas into a business venture and develop important skills that will prepare them for the future. Overall, the 3rd, 4th, & 5th graders enrolled in our virtual Montessori classroom will gain a strong foundation in academic, social, emotional, and practical skills that will set them up for success in their future educational and personal endeavors.

Learning Needs
Quantum Montessori's lessons provide individualized learning, multisensory activities, and STEAM projects to accommodate ADHD and Dyslexia. Trained educators use Montessori principles to foster independence, focus, and positive self-esteem.
Parental Guidance
Learner access to third-party learning tools is included at no additional cost to families, and will be provided to learners before their first day of live classes if enrollment begins on a weekend. Tools are provided as an added resource so that home-educators can reinforce guidance provided during class time.
On occasion, Google slides will be shown on-screen during live classes and shared with home-educators via the classroom tab for at-home viewing.
Quantum Montessori has created in-house and/or licensed a large library of virtual Montessori materials that will be shared via Google Drive to provide learners equal access to materials. Learners will have access to word documents that may require the use of a printer.
Minecraft and Roblox are used during learner-led social groups with parent permission and in accordance with Outschool policies.

Hello, I'm Ashleigh Stevens, the founder of Quantum Montessori and the Floating Hearts program. My journey in education has always been driven by a passion for nurturing young minds and fostering personal growth. With a deep commitment to integrating Montessori principles, STEAM education, and Social-Emotional Learning (SEL), I've created a holistic and supportive learning environment where students can thrive.
As a certified Quantum Human Design specialist and Trauma-Informed yoga instructor, I bring a unique blend of mindfulness and self-awareness to my teaching approach. I'm also a certified Quantum Healing Hypnosis and Reiki practitioner, as well as a Teaching Self-Government mentor, all of which underscore my dedication to the well-being and development of my learners.
I am also an Elementary Montessori Guide, certified to lead elementary-age students through a prepared learning environment that addresses their psychological characteristics and developmental needs. Through my diverse expertise and unwavering commitment, I strive to lead Quantum Montessori in redefining education, ensuring that every student is supported on their educational journey, prepared to meet the challenges of the future, and inspired to achieve their fullest potential.
In addition to my role as an educator and guide, I am a passionate homeschool mom, business owner, and family coach. My family coaching business, Floating Hearts, embodies the core philosophy of Quantum Montessori, emphasizing heart-centered, balanced, and self-governed learning.
