In this class, students will ask and answer such questions as who, what, where, when, why, and how to demonstrate understanding of key details in a text to increase reading comprehension. This will be a student-centered class allowing students to construct questions. The class will be structured whole group with individualized scaffolding. We will read text or passage together and begin answering questions. Students will have discussions with each other. It will be a collaborative class with peers sharing. Students will need to be close to a 1st grade reading level.
