2nd Grade Math Summer Session

This class will cover all the essential topics that students need to know to succeed in second grade. Each week, students will receive worksheets that includes a spiral review of previous concepts and practice for the current week's topic. These materials will serve as a guide for the week's lessons and will help students stay on track with their learning. This class will incorporate hands-on activities, group discussions, and games to make learning engaging and fun.

Each week I will introduce the concept and during class we will use our whiteboard and/or paper as I teach and students demonstrate their understanding of the skill.  Students will be given optional homework that can be submitted to me for correction. 

I am a former math interventionist with a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Design. Currently, I focus on grades first through fourth grade classes in order to ensure high quality instruction as well as materials. I aim to foster a relationship with my students and their families to make certain all my students are successful. 

This class consists of 12 weeks of curriculum that will cover 2nd grade math material for summer retention and practice. Great for students who want a review and will be entering third grade. I do not share class videos because of privacy issues, however if your child misses a class please feel free to email me with any questions or support about the topic. Weekly topics are listed in the class syllabus.
