Class Experience

This class is all about exploring cats. We will gain knowledge about this beloved species. We will also hear fun stories where the cat is the star. Each student will gain confidence in their drawing skills and create some pretty amazing whimsical interpretation of these creatures.

Each week the student will draw 2 whimsical cats - including some of their favorites! - through directed line drawing instruction. We will begin by learning through Google slides about cats, offering facts and fun stories about cats. Then we will play a fun game like jeopardy. Finally, we will draw cats with pencil as I use the directed line drawing method. The student will then paint their cats using watercolor paint. Students can also use crayons, markers and colored pencils.
