This is a two-class session designed to teach students how to perform a mesmerising card magic show to delight and entertain their family and friends at Christmas gatherings, complete with music and set up! In the first session, I will talk students through the basic history of card magic and explain how to shuffle and hold the cards. I begin the class with an awesome coin trick to get everyone warmed up, and then move on to teach two or three card tricks that will amaze any audience (2 or 3 depending on class size and the time available). In the second session, we will recap the previous tricks and then talk about performance tips for the perfect Christmas Act including selecting a soundtrack to amaze friends and families. If we have time, we will add more card tricks for the students to learn, including learning how to force a card. We will then talk about different ways of using these tricks and how to communicate with the audience when performing. Please note: *If you do not see a time or date listed for a class that interests you, please message me with a few possible dates and times and I will do my best to offer a session that will work for your schedule. *For parents/families who feel their child would benefit from this course, but their budget does not allow for it, I do offer a number of discounts for families of lower income. Please message me with the course, dates and times you are interested in to learn more about the discounts I might be able to offer. *Once a learner has been verified per OS policy, this is a camera optional class.
