Welcome to 1st Grade Math where students will learn and review their objectives in a fun and engaging way by using Nearpod!

This class is perfect for students who are entering 1st grade or want a review on the 1st grade math objectives

Every lesson will be taught as if it was new to the student to ensure that they understand the material. The lesson will be fun and engaging as they will get to play fun games to reinforce the lesson, do activities like drag and drop activities and many more activities that can be found within Nearpod

Students will be able to participate in the class by various formats. They can come off mute and ask questions, they can show their work on the Nearpod, or they can ask questions on the chatbox.

Learners will receive an OPTIONAL Kahoot game to reinforce what was learned in the classroom as well as a copy of the Nearpod lesson for reinforcement. 

I love to ensure students are understanding the material, therefore students will be asked questions throughout the lesson. They can either answer verbally or in the chat box.

June 27: Comparing Up To 10 with Greater than, less than, or equal to sign/Comparing to 100 
July 4: Place Value Models up to 20/Even or Odd
July 11: Place Value: Tens & Ones/ Ordering Numbers
July 18: Place value models up to 100/One-Digit Addition
July 25: Left, Middle, and Right/Top, Middle, Bottom
August 1: Coin Values/Dollar Values
August 8: Pictographs/symmetry
August 15: Patterns/Equal parts
August 22: Analog clocks and times/digital clocks and times
