Class Experience
In this class we will focus on different topics you would learn in first grade. We will continue to work on number sense and develop their understanding of addition and subtraction strategies, as well as shapes and measurements. I love teaching tricks to students as well as giving real-life examples to understand the importance of math in a day to day life. I do understand that math isn't for everyone, so when students are stuck, I don't mind explaining things in a different way. I will...
I've taught elementary school math for about 8 years now, both professionally as well as tutoring. I majored in Childhood education as well as math thinking I would one day be a math coach for teachers, but instead realized teaching kids was my passion instead.
