This is a 1st Grade Learning Pod where a full curriculum class covering concepts in Math, English, Science and History. It is an ongoing class, which teaches an in-depth full year of 1st Grade curriculum. Learners can join the pod anytime!

US Grade 1
The Learning Pod has been designed to allow your learner to have a individual learning plan and still enjoy the fun of learning with their pod! The curriculum is project-based, engaging, and allows each learner to discover their love for learning. During this class, students will be able to build connections and friendships with their pod while having fun learning all the skills they need to know during the 1st grade. Learning Pod classes are 45 minutes and have very small groups of learners. This allows learners to have the attention of the teacher and connect with other pod members. The Curriculum will cover: Language Arts Math Social Emotional History STEM Science Reading Comprehension Art and More! Weekly lessons will be taught through engaging lessons that will include music, dance, puppets, worksheets, hands-on learning experiences and videos. Weekly on Sunday you will receive a handout for the week. The weekly handout will provided any additional detailed information that was not provided in the course syllabus. The syllabus will be available upon enrollment in the Learning Pod. Week One- April 29-May 3- Butterfly Project Week Two-May 6-May 10- Ladybugs Week Three-May 13-May 17- What's the Buzz (All About Bees) Week Four-May 20-May24-Wiggle Worms Each of the above projects will include learning about the life cycle, making a connection to world around us, literature, math, writing, music, art and more.

Greetings, my name is Ms. Wells! My Outschool classes are designed for children ages 3-7 who enjoy learning through music, movement, and hands-on fun! I will be teaching classes centered around reading, science, history, math, and preschool skills. My goal is for my classes to be engaging, educational, and child-centered.
I have studied Early Childhood Education, and I taught Preschool and Kindergarten for 13 years before becoming a stay-at-home mom. Preschool and kindergarten-age children are my favorite to teach. I enjoy watching them learn and discover something new about the world. As a teacher, my goal is to help my students develop a passion for learning.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my children! We enjoy baking and cooking together, we truly enjoy experimenting with new recipes. My family and I also enjoy taking our daily walk, staying active is very important to me. I look forward to helping your student learn and grow!Reviews
