With over 15 years of experience, I have dedicated my career to teaching in mainstream British primary schools, engaging with children aged 4-11. My role has encompassed working with a diverse range of students, from those with additional needs to those identified as gifted and talented.

For a decade, I held the prestigious position of Head of English at two distinct schools. In this leadership role, I shouldered the responsibility of steering progress and fostering achievement. As both a teacher and a leader, my unwavering focus has consistently been on aiding children in reaching academic excellence through dynamic, innovative, and engaging lessons.

Homework Offered
There will be an optional homework after each class, as children will have the opportunity to carry on the writing or reading techniques that we have learnt in the lesson. If they choose to do this and then they can photograph and upload their work to the classroom through google docs and I will be more than happy to provide them with feedback.
0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
The children will be assessed throughout the course and given immediate feedback. Adults will revive a short summary at the end of each lesson about the learner's strengths and areas for improvement.
Grades Offered

Children with additional needs would be supported through the process. As the stimulus for the writing and reading  is chosen by the child, children on the autistic spectrum would have their 'high interest' needs met.
