Let's find your voice! All singers welcome in this fun and engaging workshop. Whether you want to perfect your favorite pop song, get ready for a musical theatre audition, strengthen your classical range, or even write a song, this is the place for you. In this private voice lesson workshop, the student will learn new skills to help them grow and strengthen their voice. Every student will have lessons tailored to their individual skill level and interests. - Students will learn vocal warm-up techniques to gain knowledge of a good foundation for singing. - Students will learn proper breath support and control to use while singing in their daily life. - Posture, mouth positions, muscle control will all be discussed. - Students will learn the importance of warming up their voices and bodies before singing a song or going into performance. - Dynamics - Acting the song - Audition techniques - Students will have fun!

Teacher will supply everything needed including sheet music, backing tracks, and vocal warm-ups.

Jennifer Gail: My name is Miss Jenn! Since childhood, I have been engulfed in music and performance. Originally from Upland, CA, I spent many of my formative years traveling the country, as well as Australia, sampling a broad spectrum of musical influences as a singer-songwriter, actor, and all around performer. I am a self-taught guitarist and my vocal range spans genres as diverse as classical, contemporary, folk and musical theater.
Since the age of four, my passion for theater performance has put me at the forefront of numerous musical productions and shows. In addition to my classical background in opera, I graduated from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in 2005 where I studied all aspects of theater and music in both Los Angeles and New York City. Since graduating, I have completed my debut CD entitled Still and toured the West Coast sharing my music with others.
I have always dreamed of giving back my talent and experience in the form of teaching. This is why my husband and I founded One Story Creations, a place where children can come and let their creativity flourish through singing, acting, music lesson and more.
I'm excited to lend my talents to the students of Outschool and help them learn and grow through the performing arts in a fun and uplifting environment! Reviews
