Class Experience

This class will be customized to fit your learner's needs and available on a weekly basis. Please let me know if you'd like to meet outside of the listed sections and we can work out a regular day/time. Please do not enroll in a session before speaking with me to ensure you are not enrolling your student in another student's reserved section. :)

I value having fun as a part of learning and ensuring retention of what is taught, so your learner's session may include customized educational games, screen sharing Google Slides lessons including your learner's favorite TV or movie characters, or we will work on homework from their school curriculum. Some topics I'm especially fond of teaching are phonemic awareness, reading comprehension, math fact fluency, financial literacy, and functional literacy.

I look forward to working with your learner!

Late Policy: Per Outschool's Happiness Guarantee - once a student is 10 minutes late it is considered a missed meeting. Due to the limited availability in my schedule and the increase in student interest in tutoring I will not be able to refund or transfer a student once he/she is 10 or more minutes late. I will be happy to refund or reschedule a session if communication is given ahead of time!

Class Recording Policy: Recording of class sessions are given for safety concerns or if a student missed a group class. I do not routinely share class recordings for 1:1 sessions as I provide the student with any practice materials they may need during the session or via message immediately afterwards.

Parental Guidance
This class utilizes outside tools with Google Suite (Google Forms, Google Slides, etc) and Nearpod. During sessions if we will be using Google Suite apps, such as Google Slides, they will be shared on the screen and no Google account will be required for the student. Google Slides, Google Forms, Google Docs, and Jamboard would be used for customized games per your learner's goals and Youtube may be utilized for fact fluency songs to help with memorizing content.
Supply List
Please come to your session ready with the materials you need (ex: pencil & paper, a homework assignment we've planned to complete together, etc).
