In this ongoing class, I will work with learners to improve their confidence, knowledge and understanding. The exact content will be based on their personal requirements, after consultation with the learner's parents.
Class experience
US Grade 3 - 5
This class will focus on the specific maths knowledge and skills required by the individual student. This may include methods of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, as well as how to apply these methods to solve problems. Areas of maths such as fractions, decimals and percentages; measurement; ratio; and data handling can also be taught, as required by the learner. Students will improve their knowledge and understanding of the areas of maths identified for tuition. They will develop greater confidence in maths.
Homework Offered
Students will be assigned work to complete between sessions. The work will be focussed on the last session taught and will reinforce the student's understanding of the topic. This work should be completed independently by the student and submitted at least 24 hours prior to the next session.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class

For some sessions, documents will be provided and should be printed out by the student prior to the class.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
