The best method for tutoring to succeed is for me to spend the first session getting to know the student and their abilities before giving them a brief lesson near the conclusion of the first session. Then, having that knowledge, I'd design the next session to look deeper into the areas where they require assistance. Having more than one session with a tutoring teacher is beneficial to students. Your student will receive tutoring depending on their assignment or homework in this one-time class. I can also provide general tutoring for grades Kindergarten to grade 4.  For example I will do activities such as: reading comprehension, spelling, writing sentences, reviewing uppercase and lowercase letters, teaching them noun, verb and adjectives and more. For example in math I will do activities related to counting, even and odd, more and less, before and after, measurement, fractions, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and more. Please let me know ahead of time what your student requires or what you want me to focus on with your student. This information helps so I can be prepared with any materials and activities that could assist them. My teaching style encourages students to talk and share as much as possible.
