In this one time class, we will focus on how to draw block and bubble letters and digits so that we can create words and numbers. The process is very simple and easy. It also leaves a lot of room for creativity from the artist.

Beginner Level
In this one time class, your learner will practice drawing letters of the alphabet and numbers in block and bubble letter form. We will break down the characteristics of uppercase letters and then I will show them fun, easy and familiar ways to make them stand out when they're in Art class or elsewhere. They can also add color or pattern and even make them "3D!" We will discuss the letter formation and then apply the same technique to the drawing of block or bubble digits in order to...
Students will begin to understand the details that go into the visual aesthetic of both numerical and alphabetical digits. By seeing these characters with their own traits, and not just as something to help communicate, they can feel free to implement these techniques into more visually pleasing artwork. It will also come in handy when more organized and higher-end projects come into play later. I stress to the students that we are not writing these letters or numbers, but drawing them. This process forces them to slow down and focus more on the form and contour of each individual character.
