Welcome to my classroom! I love teaching children how to read and can't wait to meet your learner! All levels are welcome(Pre-K, Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th grade). This class can be a starting point for your little ones learning to read, or help with any reading difficulties. I'm also happy to help with specific reading homework. The class is completely individualized and customized to the child's needs and goals. PARENTS: Please reach out prior to class to discuss your learners level and goals. This is required prior to class to best utilize our class time. Thank you! *If you reach out under 24 hours in advance, the first class will be utilized as an assessment to best serve your learners needs and goals. This private class can and may focus on these areas: phonics, phonemic awareness, decoding, fluency, reading, spelling, and writing. The class is taught in a fun and encouraging environment. This encourages and promotes discussions, active listening skills, building and expanding their vocabulary, and enhancing their love of reading. This class is taught by a neurodiverse tutor(ADHD), and is inclusive to all neurodiverse learners(ADHD, Dyslexia, ASD). Most of my learners are neurodiverse and I strive to provide a positive, encouraging and welcoming environment.
