Why choose a class with me?

I provide a kind, supportive, engaging environment where we have fun while learning. Lessons are student centered and your child's personality and interests are celebrated. Every child learns differently, so every child is taught differently using strategies proven to increase learning. 

I greatly believe in the power of a strong parent - teacher partnership to help support a child and help them grow.

I will send a follow-up/message after every session to discuss how the session went.

This class will be designed to the specific needs of your child. This includes teaching using a novel, or short, interesting stories. It truly depends on what your child is interested in. I'd love to target any skills that your child needs. When we touch base the first session, we will spend time getting to know each other and establishing a strong parent, child, teacher relationship. Additionally, if you have a specific skill in mind right away, please let me know at least 24 hours before a session. I am more than happy to be flexible but sharing the topic before class allows me to provide the best instruction for your child. 

Finally, I am more than happy to assist with homework assignments for your child. I just request that you provide the assignment ahead of time so I can familiarize myself with the content and be the best teacher that I can be for your child!
