1:1 Private Tutoring With Certified Classroom Teacher MATH-Full Curriculum(K-4)

✏️Welcome! In this class, students will strengthen their math skills through engaging, interactive lessons designed to make learning fun. With 20 years of classroom experience, I understand that every learner is unique. Over the years, I've developed a vast toolkit of effective strategies and techniques to support students. Each lesson will be customized to fit your child’s specific needs, with input from parents. Please share what your student would like to focus on during each session, whether it’s mastering a challenging concept, completing homework, or preparing for tests (full math curriculum available). 

✏️I provide a comprehensive math curriculum personally customized to meet your child's needs, covering everything from basic counting to addition, subtraction, word problems, fractions, geometry, counting money, telling time, measurement, multiplication, division, and even long division. As an enthusiastic educator, I’m committed to making math engaging and interactive, while ensuring our sessions are focused and productive for lasting success.

✏️Together, your child and I will patiently work as partners to think through and logically discuss the best ways to solve math problems. We'll use both paper and pencil, as well as Zoom’s interactive writing tool, to explore different problem-solving methods. These may include number lines, drawing pictures, using household manipulatives, creating diagrams, learning math tricks and strategies, grouping, counting backward and forward, recognizing patterns, and making charts and graphs—along with much more. At the end of each lesson, I will ask your child to review what we have learned in a fun “Teach the Teacher” activity. 

✏️If you'd like me to focus on homework or test preparation with your learner, please email any necessary materials at least 2-3 days in advance so I can plan enriching lessons that best support your child.  

✏️This is a relaxed, highly engaging class where your learner will receive gentle, caring, supportive guidance, helping them build confidence, master challenging concepts, and reach their full potential. Lessons will be adjusted weekly to accommodate your child’s evolving needs. Please check in with me regularly to discuss any updates. Optional review materials are available upon request.  

✏️Please let me know if you’d prefer sessions longer than 30 minutes or if you'd like to meet more than once a week. If you need a specific day or time that isn't listed, please email me. I will do my best to accommodate your schedule and arrange a session that works for both of us.
