1:1 Private Reading Tutoring-Everything English Language Arts- Longer Session

Whether your learner needs help in reading, comprehension, grammar, writing, or any other assignment your learner needs help with, this class is for you!  Every student learns differently and has various academic needs.  It is my job to meet each student's learning needs, help them succeed, and build confidence to become lifelong learners.  This private one-on-one English Language Arts class is designed to help students who may be struggling, need extra help on homework, or even the advanced student who wants more of a challenge.  I can teaching everything ELA.  

With over twenty years of teaching experience, I can help your child succeed.  Before class, parents should communicate the needs of the learner so I can prepare for each session.  

Topics can include, but not be limited to:
Reading Comprehension
Fluency
Vocabulary
Context Clues
Writing a Summary
Paragraph Writing
Essays 
Grammar Rules, Usage, and Application
Various of Literary Genres including Fiction, Non-Fiction, and Poetry

My teaching style is engaging and fun.  I enjoy getting to know my students and building relationships with them, which is directly linked to academic success.
 
Learners can join and leave at any time. Students will get the most valuable learning experience by enrolling for multiple sessions to build and gain knowledge and strategies for success.
